Make this Easy Popcorn Mix tonight!
This easy popcorn mix one of the quickest treats we’ve ever made. We popped popcorn (with our ancient popcorn maker) and melted white chocolate. Mixed together, we added sprinkles and that’s it! A perfect combination of sweet and salty and crunchy! It took less than 10 minutes to put the whole thing together and it was a perfect treat for Shelagh’s little sprinkle. (Lets be real, we loved it too.) [Read more…]
Want an easy way to make store bought donuts extra special? Make Marbled Donuts! Icing plain donuts and adding sprinkles takes an old fashioned plain donut to the next level.
We melted white chocolate candy melts and added a few pink ones to make two colours. Then we added a few spoonfuls of the white chocolate to the melted pink chocolate and mixed it with a toothpick. It gave a nice marbled effect and when we dipped our old fashioned plain donut (from Tim Hortons) in to the mixture it made a gorgeous effect! Then, of course, we added Sprinkles! [Read more…]
Brownies with Sprinkles!
Making brownies is one of the easiest things to take a shortcut with. We’re serious. It’s pretty rare that we make brownies from scratch. The boxed versions are absolutely delicious and really easy to make. One of our favourites comes from Betty Crocker. The icing is even included in the box! [Read more…]
Chocolate Dipped Oreos with Sprinkles

We’re showing you how we make chocolate dipped Oreos with sprinkles and they’re amazing! This is one of the easiest things we think you can do to add a little something extra special to a party (or just a Wednesday). Even my husband who doesn’t really love dessert unless it’s ice cream likes them. [Read more…]
We Made the MOST ADORABLE Easter Bunny Cake!
This might honestly be our favourite cake to date. It’s adorable, and it was so easy and quick to come together.
After icing the cake, I used Pink and Rose Wilton gel colouring to make the two colours for the flower crown. While they’re only subtly different, we felt they gave the crown a little bit of extra depth. Then, we used Leaf Green, also by Wilton to make the leaves. [Read more…]
We made a St. Patrick’s Day Cake!
Growing up in the 80’s, money cakes were a regular birthday occurrence for Margie and I. We both have such wonderful memories of cabbage patch themed cakes with real soothers in them, and so many quarters wrapped in tinfoil baked throughout just waiting for us to find them. It’s seriously such a nostalgic thing for us, but we have never attempted to make our own. Until now with this St. Patrick’s Day Cake! We honestly couldn’t think of a better reason for our first attempt at baking money into a cake than St. Patrick’s Day. [Read more…]
Valentine’s Day Cake Videos
This year for Valentine’s Day, we celebrated in the most delicious way! With cake, of course. Shelagh and I brainstorm regularly about all the amazing ways we can use our sprinkles and party supplies and we got seriously excited when we decided to start making cakes and making the videos that go with them.
